योगी आदित्यनाथ बने यूपी के 21वें सीएम

Lucknow, March 19: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yogi Adityanath, who was chosen as the UP BJP Legislature Party leader on Saturday, was sworn-in as the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister on Sunday at Kanshiram Smriti Upvan in Lucknow.

उत्तर प्रदेश में मिली ऐतिहासिक जीत के बाद योगी आदित्यनाथ आज उत्तर प्रदेश के 21वें मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर शपथ ले ली है. उनके साथ केशव मौर्य और दिनेश शर्मा ने उपमुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली. इससे पहले योगी आदित्यनाथ सुबह-सुबह शपथ ग्रहण समारोह स्थल लखनऊ के स्मृतिवन पर पहुंचे और जायजा लिया था. मंच पर अमित शाह, मुलायम सिंह यादव, लालकृष्ण आडवाणी, अखिलेश यादव, शिवराज सिंह चौहान, नितिन गडकरी, उमा भारती, रविशंकर प्रसाद समेत कई बड़े नेता मौजूद हैं. इसके साथ ही अखिलेश और मुलायम सिंह यादव से मंच पर अमित शाह गर्मजोशी से मिले.

Apart from him state BJP president Keshav Prasad Maurya and party’s national vice-president Dinesh Sharma also took oath as the deputy chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh.

Governor Ram Naik administered the oath of office and secrecy to Adityanath and a total of 47 Cabinet ministers and Ministers of State in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The ceremony was also attended by BJP National President Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister Uma Bharti among many other prominent dignitaries. Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav and SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav were also present at the event. 

Noteworthy, BJP MLA from Noida Pankaj Singh, the elder son of Home Minister Rajnath Singh, was not included in the list however, bids on him being indicted in the Uttar Pradesh were high. In total, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Cabinet constitutes of 23 Cabinet ministers, nine Ministers of State (Independent) and 15 Ministers of State.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won over 300 seats out of 403 in the recently concluded Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 whereas, the Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance and Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party could not even manage to gain 100 seats.
